We know you have many summer opportunities to choose from, between internships, travel, school, and work; but Tekoa's summer employment opportunities are unlike any other. Our mission here at Tekoa is "Touching hearts, changing lives, sharing the light of Christ." Through fun programming and outdoor ministry with children and youth our awesome staff are able to meet our mission and make a difference. As a part of our staff you will gain experiences in life and faith and make friendships that will last a lifetime.

We offer summer employment opportunities for high school and college students from all over the United States and the world. Last summer (2007) we employed 85 staff members, 15 of which were from a state outside of North Carolina and 10 from countries outside the United States. This allows us to offer a wide range of culture and experience to our programs. Typically we hire sixty Senior Staff, twelve Staff Assistants (SA), and accept twenty Counselor In Training (CIT) volunteers.
