Positions
Senior Staff Positions (must have completed one year of college and a minimum age of 18 1/2 years old):
Counselor (Family Group Leader): Family Group Leaders make up the majority of our staff. They are paired up with a different Family Group Leader each week and together they are in charge of facilitating weekly camp activities for their assigned group of 16 boy/girl campers. Family Group Leaders work with our Day Camp, Resident (over-night) Camp, Adventure Camp and Special Needs Camps. Family Group Leaders live in the cabins with their assigned campers. Adventure Team Staff: We hire six full time A-Team Staff to facilitate all of the high ropes and climbing elements. These elements consist of ziplines, high ropes course, climbing tower, tree climb, chimney climb, and rock climbing. Click here to view the Adventure Team Job Description.

Resource Staff: Resource staff are those who specialize in specific activities and facilitate our adventure camp programs. Each adventure camp is lead by a Resource Staff person or Resource Volunteers. Adventure camps include 6th Grade Breakout, Rock Climbing, Water Adventure, All Girls Adventure, Fishing, Survivor, All Boys, and Ultimate Challenge. Staff Assistants (must be a high school graduate, starting first year of college and a minimum age of 17 years old):
We hire approximately 12 Staff Assistants each summer. Our Staff Assistants are used flexibly throughout the camp, filling support staff positions as well as Family Group Leader positions along side a Senior Staff member. Click here to see the SA Job Description.
Counselor In Training (Must be a rising high school senior and a minimum age of 16 years old):
Counselors In Training (CIT) are volunteers who assist in all areas of summer programming. CIT volunteers are in charge of leading group games, "all-camp" activities, hikes, nature activities, camper interest groups, campfire songs, devotions and many other duties. This program is a leadership training opportunity designed to assist the summer camp programs. This is a great opportunity for our rising high school seniors to build volunteer hours that can be presented on college applications. CITs are asked to make a commitment to serve one of the 4-week sessions (SESSION 1 - June 8-July 5 or SESSION 2 - July 6-August 2). Click here to see the CIT Job Description.
