Pay & Time Off

Senior Staff:

First year Senior Staff receive weekly pay of $160 + an end of summer bonus for completing their 8 week covenant agreement and 2 weeks of training (full bonus is $220). All Senior Staff are provided room and board for the entire summer.

Return Senior Staff receive a $10 weekly pay increase from their previous summer and are also eligible for the end of summer bonus.

Support, Resource, and Adventure Team staff receives additional pay depending on their training and experience.

All Senior Staff are expected to take a week off during the summer without pay; choice of week is on a first-come, first-served basis. All staff receive a 24-hour break each week (Sat-Sun) between weekly camp sessions. Senior Staff also receive daily breaks as they are arranged by the administrative staff.

Tekoa Staff

Staff Assistant (SA):

All Staff Assistants receive weekly pay of $140 after their unpaid week of training. SAs are provided room and board for their entire summer employment period.

All SAs are expected to take a week off during the summer without pay sometime after their week of training; choice of week is on a first-come, first-served basis. All staff receive a 24-hour break each week (Sat-Sun) between weekly camp sessions. SAs also receive daily breaks as they are arranged by the administrative staff.

Counselor In Training (CIT):

CITs are summer volunteers and do not receive monetary compensation. CITs are provided room and board for their four week session. CITs receive a 24-hour break each week (Sat-Sun) between weekly camp sessions. CITs also receive daily breaks as they are arranged by the administrative staff.
