Staff Assistants

 

(Must be a high school graduate, starting first year of college and a minimum age of 17 years old)

The SA program is described as the backbone of our staff, because our SAs are used in many capacities here at Tekoa. Staff Assistants are used flexibly throughout the camp, filling support staff positions as well as Family Group Leader positions along side Senior Staff members.

Tekoa's SA program is designed to allow recent high school graduates the opportunity to:

  • share the light of Christ with children and youth in an outdoor Christian camp atmosphere.
  • gain experience, leading all camp programs and activities for elementary and middle school, day and resident campers.
  • work alongside and learn from a community of highly trained senior staff.
  • explore and grow Christian faith.
  • engage in Christian fellowship with fellow Tekoa staff and volunteers.
