As you walk the trails here at Tekoa, you find red clay hand prints covering the trunks of many trees.  These lucky trees hold markings that tell a joyful story.  The long walk back to Tekoa's lake is just part of the mud-pit experience.  As unrecognizable children emerge from the trail, campers and staff applaud their mud-wallowing efforts.  Only a dip in the cool Tekoa lake can make them recognizable again.
